The "thing" was the fearsome 125 bhp, two stroke, 1975 Yamaha TZ 750 flat tracker - a 150 mph beast with no front brakes and described as possibly the "most evil, terrifying competition bike ever built." Thirty four years after winning the Indy Mile, Roberts re-visited the TZ...and tamed the beast!
