har en gsxr1000 med 530 kedja,fixade massa drev men är 520 ,aldrig tänkt på det.
så frågan är alltså vad händer om man kör med 520 drev+530 kedja.
ganska stor skillnad.vad betyder 530 resp.520 ?

Det har med bredden på kedjan (och dreven att göra), finns mycket trådar om det.
Jag hade inte använt den kedjan till dreven...

Den förklaring jag läst är att första siffran är längden mellan pinnarna och dom andra siffrorna är bredden mellan plattorna i 8-dels tum.

Ex:
420 = 4/8 (1/2)" mellan pinnarna, 2,0/8 (1/4)" mellan plattorna.
525 = 5/8", 2,5/8 (5/16)"

Jämför man med en kedjetabell verkar det stämma:
