Då kommer vi tillbaka till det där med den snabbaste föraren i fältet. Ska man kopiera hans inställningar eller inte? Om man gör det och inte får ut det som går, vad är nästa steg då?

Tror det kan vara Peccos unika och speciella krav på framändan som ställer till det för honom och Ducati.

So you like the forks to be fully bottomed?

Yes. I prefer to feel the bike with the forks bottomed because I love to feel the front tyre.

Wow! Because when most people feel the forks bottom out they freak out! But you like them to bottom, so there’s no more suspension, so all you feel is the front tyre.

Yes and then I control it with the brake lever [using brake pressure to control fork compression]. I’m the only rider at Ducati who does this. I’ve always liked it like this, since Moto3, when I used the same fork springs in the wet and the dry. The same in Moto2 and now in MotoGP the springs I use in the wet and dry are very similar.

Och hur kan Digia bli tvåa på samma hoj?
Även om han också klagat på "front end feel" så verkar han/dom hittat inställningar nu.
Och att fabriksteamet inte skulle hitta dom är lite märkligt.

Asked why he didn’t struggle as much with stability on his GP25 compared to Bagnaia, Di Giannantonio explained: “Well, the bike in Phillip Island moves a lot, actually.

“I don’t know about the others; I was not on their bikes.

“But in my case, for sure, we started the weekend with the bike moving a lot.

“But I was able to go fast anyway.

“Then I spoke a lot with my rider coach, who said, ‘In Phillip Island, the bike has to move. If it’s not moving, you are not going fast.’

“So, it’s a thing to keep in mind and maybe say that if it’s moving, ‘Ok, I’m going fast enough’.

“Sometimes, for sure, the stability of the bike is important, but when the conditions are like this for everybody, you need to handle the situation as best as possible.
