Väldigt talande siffror om hur Rossi och Burgess underskattade problemen med Ducati och Stoners förmåga.

Inför säsongen 2011 klingade ord ord som

Rossi who said it was impossible to assess the potential of the Desmosedici because the Aussie wasn’t pushing hard enough.
Burgess also riled Stoner when he said he could dial out Ducati’s persistent front-end issue in 80 seconds.

I början skylldes det på en skadad axel men det var då han presterade bäst.
Man provade 3 helt olika hojar under säsongen men det vart knappast bättre snarare tvärtom.

12 crasher under 2011 var också ett rekord och Sic incidenten gjorde det hela inte bättre.

Man får säga vad som helst om Rossi men jag tror hans karriär inom Motogp snart är över.

Stoners kommentar om 2011 säger en hel del om relationen mellan dom “The reason this championship does taste sweet has a lot to do with Valentino and Jerry and the criticism they gave us that we couldn't develop a bike and didn't know what we were doing. Clearly they are ten times more confused than we ever were about what direction to go in"

Tror likadant. En sjätteplats 2012 och sedan hasta la vista till MotoGP.
