Schacht rookie med otrimmad motor har ialla fall nästan samma topspeed som Lundh...
Nu skiljer det ju nästan 1 meter i längd också
Joorå det finns massor med exempel på andra sporter som det är fördel med att vara längre o tyngre än konkurrenterna
Låna nu ut Lundhs hoj till Schacht så får vi se hur den går på riktigt...

Slutsats: Lundh tappar mkt mark bara dom 3 första varven = 10s. Kvalplacering långt fram är A och O för en bra raceplacering.

Här får du en till: Att plocka tillbaka 10s på framförvarande, är minst dubbelt så svårt som att ligga o bevaka sin plats i kön o vänta på att alla snabba ska crasha ut sig... Om en rutinerad o LITEN vass kille som Robbin Harms placerar sig precis inom topp 8 (3a i totalen efter Assen) = mästerskapet tuffare mitt i säsongen, när dom flesta andra kommit ikapp i speed (maskinellt o förarmässigt) jämfört mot premiären på Phillip Island.

Inte var det så tråkigt?! Tycker båda racen bjöd på betydligt mer spänning än de flesta MotoGp race i alla fall.
Det känns som om mästerskapet har vänt nu på något sätt på de två senaste omgångarna. Kejsaren ser ut att ha chans behålla sin titel!

Parkalgar Honda's Sam Lowes has battled his way to a sixth place finish at the seventh round of the World Supersport Championship at Brno in the Czech Republic. He had been challenging in the top three but then dropped back as he lost grip from his tyres much earlier than expected.
Sam Lowes:
"I got an OK start and felt good on my Parkalgar Honda. I was working my way through the field and was closing the gap to the leader thinking I could challenge when I lost grip in my tyres. It was sudden and unexpected and there was nothing I could do but concentrate and ride as hard as I could with the grip I had. Sixth is not what I wanted but it's points and the best I could do given the circumstances."
Simon Buckmaster (Team Manager - Parkalgar Honda):
"Sam didn't get a great start but was looking good in third when the grip went away and there was nothing he could do. He did the right thing to bring the bike home and get points and is now looking forward to his home race at Silverstone next time out."

Brno in the Czech Republic provided two contrasting experiences for top World Superbike rider Tom Sykes (Kawasaki Racing Team Superbike) as he qualified on the second row, but was powerless to prevent each race developing into a fight to keep his position as the laps counted down.
Sykes, from Huddersfield, used his eighth place on the grid to make two solid starts, passing fourth across the line after one lap of the opener, and sticking inside his qualifying performance for most of the second race, before being swamped as his tyres went off.
Once again the raceday conditions proved hot in the Superbike World Championship, with track temperatures in race two climbing to well over 50 degrees C. The next round is a significant one for both Tom and his British Based team, as it takes place at Silverstone between 29 and 31 July.
Tom Sykes: "I was a little bit upset that we were not on the front row in superpole, though we have to keep realistic and we still have a few issues with the bike set-up. I love this track, but I knew it would highlight our problems a little more."
" You are in the corners for a long time at Brno and with not so much brake pressure, going on and off the gas, trail braking; so I knew it would be difficult. It looks like I have improved my race starts now, they look stronger and we are there on the first three or four laps. Unfortunately we drop off in pace after that."

"Although Pirelli was prepared for the Czech round with newly-developed super-soft compounds for both SBK and SSP, the track conditions this weekend made for an unfavorable situation with respect to track grip. Adding to an already extreme 52°C asphalt temperature, two nights of pouring rain left the racing surface devoid of rubber and therefore less able to offer the necessary physical grip. The slightly slower lap pace of 0.5 seconds average occurred in all four classes.
"The 4,732 Pirelli tyres consisted of 4 front and 3 rear options for SBK, 3 fronts and 3 rears for SSP and the rest covering Superstock. For SBK, two rear Supersoft (SC0) tyres were brought to manage the extreme heat and the poor grip provided by the track's asphalt. The first, or A option, provided stability under extreme heat and the second, or B, was the more balanced option. The front row of the SBK grid all adopted the Supersoft (B) rear combined with an SC2 (or C) option front for both races, seeing thus consistent laps throughout the middle sections and race wins decided on the final lap."
"The incredible performance of SSP newcomer Gino Rea (Honda) and his SC0 rear/SC1 front tyres earned him the top spot of the podium for the first time in his Supersport career, showing a real maturity since winning the Stk600 Championship in 2009."

inte de roligaste WSBK rejsen som sagt, Men sjömil roligare än motogp ändå. Bra fighter till och från.
Lite orolig att det håller på att formas en "alien" grupp även i WSBK.
Dessa tre har dominerat rätt ordentligt en stund nu.
Vad hände med Laverty efter dubbel segern i italien ? Lite svårt haka på nu.
Haslam och corser saknas i toppen.
Rea lämnar ett tomrum.
Camier svårt att haka på toppen, Igen...
Hoppas det svänger tbx mot nya höjder i WSBK snart.
