SAS system on Duke II

Yes ,i'm still in the prosess of tuning the bike
Today i found out that my bike has a SAS system ,will it have a positive effect to remove this system? Have anyone here tryed removing this?

Performance will not increase (not that one can notice anyway) but if you want to map the bike with a lambdameter then you have to remove it, otherwise the readings will be f*cked up

If you want to fit Akrapovic headers (or any other aftermarket headers) you'll have to remove the SAS-system as the mounting bracket for the system is velded to the stock header. At least it were on my 660 SMC.

I have just ordered a new Header from Schneider Cycles ,i might have to give them a call and ask for a kit to remove the SAS (or SLS) system then.
Thanks for the help so far. I will post a picture later on another thing on the carburator i want to remove.
