Larm svarar inte längre

Hej, Jag har en fem år gammal Triumph Daytona 955i -2000. Köpte ett larm till den (Datatool Veto Evo) som har funkat bra, men i höstas slutade det att fungera. Det går helt enkelt inte att larma av hojen.
Jag har bytt batteri både i själva larmet (uppladdningsbart) och i den lilla sändaren på nyckelknippan, men det svarar fortfarande inte.
Jag har också provat att koppla loss hela larmet från elsystemet, men det går givetvis inte att starta cykeln då. Inser att poängen med hela installationen är att det ska vara svårt att forcera larmet, annars tappar det sitt syfte liksom.

Hur är ett MC-larm normalt kopplat? Vad är det som göra att cykeln vägrar starta när larmet är urkopplat?

Något tips om vad man kan göra? Måste man lämna in hela hojen till en verkstad?

Q I want to bypass my alarm. How do I do this?

A Simple answer, you don’t. Removal of the alarm is a complex affair and has several safety issues tied to it we would not recommend any un-authorised person to remove or modify their system. If you do you will invalidate your warranty and possibly also your insurance. Datatool (UK) Ltd will accept no responsibility or warranty claim for any unit where the unit has been modified or tampered with by un-authorised persons.

Q Alarm beeping all the time and not arming/going off/immobilising the machine

A You have the alarm in service mode. Refer to page 3 of the end user instructions

Q The system does not flash the indicators when triggered or when I try to arm or disarm the alarm.

A If the system fuse has failed, the alarm will power itself using the internal battery. The battery isn't powerfull enough to power the indicators. Replace the system fuse.

Q I have replaced/recharged my motorcycles battery and now the machine is immobilised

A You may have "spiked" the alarm system causing it to completely or partially not respond during disarming and immobilise the motorcycle. This is generally caused by the reconnection of the motorcycles battery without the alarm fuse being removed or the alarm being in service mode. The system can be "de-spiked" using the "de-spike" instructions available when this link is clicked.
To avoid this happening we recommend you always put the alarm into service mode and remove the alarm fuse prior to charging the battery.
If you are going to lay the machine up for an extended length of time we strongly recommend you use the Datatool Battery conditioner (Pt.No. 02012011) to maintain the charge in your battery.
