Koso varvräknare

Hej.
Jag håller på och installerar en koso på en suzuki gsx 750 och har problem med varvräknaren.
Jag undrar vad jag ska ställa för värde på pulse meter
Alternativen är 1-60 tror jag.
Jag har dålig koll på hojar och hoppas någon vet lite mer om detta än mig.
Sen säger det i alla forum jag läst att jag ska ställa in antal kolvar. Undrar även var jag gör detta.

Setting the RPM Counter
Once you have determined which position on your vehicle this reading is to be taken from (see manufacturer’s instructions) you need to tell the gauge the type of engine you are reading the signal from there are three settings to make. Incidentally I get the best results from the negative side of the coil.
Setting One 2 stroke or 4 stroke
Using the adjust button as before set for 2c (2 stroke engine) or 4c (4 stroke engine)
Setting Two The number of pistons.
Before we attempt this procedure,

Coil Connection this is just an example if in doubt try other settings
Engine has 6 pistons and 3 coils set the number of pistons to two
Engine has 4 pistons and 2 coils set the number of pistons to two
Engine has 4 pistons 4 coils set the number of pistons to one
Engine has 2 pistons 2 coils set the number of pistons to one
Engine has 2 pistons one coil set the number of pistons to two
Induction where you wrap around the HT lead do it about 20 times and cover it tightly with tape to hold it in place
In this instance you are only reading the pulses from one of the cylinders therefore on most occasions you will set it for one piston.
Setting Three The Hi Lo setting
If you connect to the negative side of the coil set it to LO
If you connect it to the positive side of the coil set it to HI
