Dear Race friend,
Hereby some news from the ONK 250 in Holland.
First off all we of the ONK 250 hope that you will have a excellent race season in 2007 and that we can welcome you for many Races of the ONK 250. The preliminary calendar you will find on the website www.onk250.nl. We hope that the calendar will be finalized in the coming weeks, probably some interesting races will be added.
News: This year we not only will take care of the 250 riders but also for the Scandinavian and English 125 cc riders.
At the moment we of the ONK 250 are busy with the investigation of riders who will participate in the ONK 250, not every race but also partly. With the KNMV we have made an agreement that we will hand them over a list with foreign drivers who are going to participate in the races of this year. The riders on this list will get from the KNMV a starting number for the whole year. This, makes it for you riders a lot easier, each race which you will participate you will have the same starting number, so no more struggling with numbers at the last day.
With regard to the entry fees, we as ONK 250 will as we did the last two years give you a certain discount on the entry fee. And as we did also the last two years, you can send your entry form to the e mail address below and we will take care for your entry, payment will be taken care of and you can pay at the race day.
For the ones of you who have problems with accommodation for the bikes we also cab arrange a tent or a pit box. If we hire a pit box it will be for more teams and off course we will use the discount on the entry fee for paying this.
For the English and Swedish riders we are currently negotiating with a company who can offer cheap ferry crossings.
Off course we don’t have the email addresses of all the drivers of your country, so please tell all the riders you know about us and tell them to participate in the ONK 250 and 125 cc. In this way we can keep the two stroke racing classes alive.
News: We are also together with some 250 cc racing enthusiast looking in the possibility to start up a northern European championship, this as amendment on the UEM championship.
