I think the engine is 50 cc and it has a centrifugal clutch
Have`nt tested the topspeed yet , im still working with it to get a nice paint and finnish.
the brake is from a mountainbike , and so are the lower forkcrown , i will come back with more cool pics as the project proceeds.

KX 125 + Minibike

If i`m alive when the Kwak is singing, then the CR500 engine MUST find it`s way down to a new more compact frame. 65HP and 35KG, , Yeah that would be something.

sunday evening, 7.30 and christian is about to test his latest creation for the first time. After a good push start the little (75cc) chainsaw engine fired up and he was off.
As he was riding his first lap around our local industrial estate I could hear that the engine was running rather well.Christian returned with the biggest smile on his face I have ever seen, and said " that was fu?=%ng excellent!!!"
After a quick rest he was off again and I could now see that the 50kmh speed of my little machine was no competion for this beast.
the top speed christian managed was a very impressive 75kmh!, and this is with direct drive using 10 - 48 gearing.
Well mr christian oscarsson the race is now on, 75kmh to beat! It seems as though I shall have to use my kx125 motor in my next bike after all!!!!
Start to worry !

Do you have any closeup fotos of the clutch and the front sproket?

i wonder i my grandpas lawnmower engine works its have no clutch and its 148 cc 4,4 hp anyone have an ide for a clutch and anone know how to fix the ignition on it, maby if i sett the engine in almost tbc and sett the igniton on ignition it will work... hmmm
