Hi all,
Would you guys (and girls) want to promote your bikes to a wider audience? Because there are some good chances coming up on the world's biggest bike site...
We want people to roadtest their own bike in an MCN-stylie and email it in, with any pictures or videos.
We also want to get as many reader specials online, plus loads of other stuff, including race pics, best road etc, etc...
The reward is that whatever you write will be displayed as Reader News, alongside the MCN Editorial, and including on the front page of the site....

I had a feeling I should have used 'dawlig' rather than avfall. In my defence, I'm better at spoken Swedish than written Swedish...my girfriend is from Hassleholm, but she only teaches me random words like windscreenwiper, or parrot....


But it's great to hear some positive feedback. Our aim isn't to come and annoy people. And it'd be great to get any stories, images, videos and test as soon a spossible, to get some Swedish stuff on the site for when we launch in December....

I'm still working out how to get from Hassleholm to far enough North to try ice racing and skidoo racing!

Incidentally, Halvarssons/Jofama/Lindstarnds have just started being imported into the UK...the kit looks really good, but have any of you guys used it?

Although you realise that when I do get the chance to ride around Sweden, i'm not expecting tour guides.....particularly ones that can get me to the systembolaget before it closes....And knows where I can find a good plank steak

The Halvarsson kit I've been using ("Castor" pants and a pair of gloves) has been totally satisfactory, the triple seams and good quality leather is confidences inspiring and has held up perfectly through two lowsiders.
However, I know Jofama has had some problems with broken zippers and such, but probably not to a greater extent than other brands.

You need a translator dude send me a pm and i can translate stuff you want to put up here..other than that..I reckon most people here speak excellent English so you may aswell write it in English eventhough we all get a great laugh out of "avfalls svenska and tack sew mewker"

My spoken Swedish is waaaay better than my written Swedish, as I actually get the chance to use spoken Swedish more often, and I rarely get a chance to actually check my spellings before posting here, as my internet access is normally limited to work time.

So I'll keep posting in English, or get the girlfriend to translate...and then probably post my swinglish translation below...
