Ok folks, you heard it hear first. The press release will be out in the morning but I though you guys would like to know....
Hawk Kawasaki are now an official satellite factory team.
We are delighted to announce the news that we are now an official partner of Kawasaki and have attended the recent test at Valencia as guests of KRT (Kawasaki Racing Team).
This is obviously huge news for the team, and for Hawk Kawasaki owner Stuart Hicken. "I'm delighted, all of our hard work over the past few years has paid off and we've already formed a great working relationship with KRT".
The support from the factory comes in recognition of Hawk Kawasaki's stunning results in the hard-fought British Superbike Championship. As well as working with KRT to continue development of the ZX-10R Hawk will receive factory parts and engines to help us with our BSB title challenge.
The 2005 season will also give fans an unprecendented opportunity to find out about life as part of Hawk Kawasaki. Filming for a 13 part fly-on-the-wall documentary following the team and it's personnel has already commenced, ready to be shown in summer 2005, (chanel to be confirmed).
The series will concentrate on the various personnel who make up Hawk Racing, and will show exactly how much work goes into fielding the team. Footage from the series will also be used to create and a 90 minute feature-length documentary to be shown at various film festivals and specialist theatres throughout Europe.
