The FXX is based on the Enzo, but has 40% more downforce than the Enzo, and especially for the FXX Ferrari had bridgestone develope 19 inch slicks.
Brembo took the ceramic brakes and the special cooling system for its account.
The FXX also comes with a telemetry system that monitors every setting of the car.
On the roof there is a camera monitoring what goes on around the car and on a display inside everything can be viewed. Side mirrors are not necessary.
Who buys an FXX automatically gets entered for 14 special races in Europe, Japan and the US. There the drivers/owners get full support from their own private Ferrari tech crew.
The FXX isnt road legal or homogolated for races. So youre just going to have to put it away for safe keeping somewhere or use it for your own fun on a track.
Whoever buys one also gets a full training at the Ferrari circuit on how to deal with it. The costs? 1.5 million euros without taxes.
All possible buyers/contestants will be screened by the Ferrari board before approval.
The first FXX's have been delivered halfway through november.
That last will be delivered April 2006.
