Honda sees 30% rise in motorcycle sales
Increases domestically and worldwide for the Japanese manufacturer in the first quarter of the financial year

During the first quarter of 2010 Honda have seen a 30 per cent increase in motorcycle sales rising to 2.54 million motorcycles outside Japan.
At a figure of 2.54 million motorcycles sold outside of Japan, the rise is the result of increased unit sales in Asia, especially in India and Indonesia.The manufacturer also saw increases domestically of 16 per cent with 59,000 units sold in the January-March period.
In regards to four wheels, Honda have a 28 per cent increase with a reported $776 million profit. After pulling in a considerable loss last year this is positive news for Honda.
